Mass intentions for the week include prayers for specific parish members mentioned for each day from Monday to Sunday, along with the readings for each day based on the liturgical calendar.
A prayer is requested for discernment and understanding as the election approaches. The community seeks guidance on voting in line with Gospel values and seeks God's wisdom in selecting leaders who work towards justice and peace.
The shelter dinner will be held at Spooner House in Shelton on Thursday, November 6th. Volunteers can sign up to provide a portion of the meal, which should be brought to St. Augustine Church by 3:00 pm on that day for delivery. Your support is appreciated.

Deacon Ken Ewaskie will lead a presentation on 'The Nicene Creed Grounded in the Ecumenical Councils' on Monday, October 20th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Good Shepherd Hall of St. Nicholas Parish. The event aims to delve into Catholic beliefs and the significance of the Nicene Creed in our liturgy.
A teachers' meeting for volunteers interested in teaching Religious Education classes will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the Good Shepherd parish hall.
